    Obesity

    Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health. People are generally considered obese when their body mass index (BMI), a measurement obtained by dividing a person's weight by the square of the person's height, is over 30 kg/m2, with the range 25–30 kg/m2 defined as overweight. This condition puts people at a higher risk for serious diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

    Cholesterol

    Cholesterol is a fat like substance in the body. It is produced by our bodyand also found in food from animal source. There are two types of Cholesterol: LDL-C or Low Density Lipoprotein is also called the bad Cholesterol and high levels of LDL-C  can lead to plaque build up in the body and lead to heart diseases like Heart attack or stroke. HDL-C or High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol is also known as good cholesterol, it helps to carry the LDL-C away from the arteries and other parts of the body  back to the liver for further breakdown.

    Diabetes

    Diabetes is a disease that occurs when the glucose level in the blood is too high .There are two types of Diabetes: Type1 Diabetes: It is a type of diabetes where the body’s immune system attacks and  destroy s cells in our pancreas that make insulin and this results in zero production of insulin. This raise the blood sugar levels. Type 2 Diabetes: It is a type of diabetes where the pancreas produces some insulin but either the amount produced is insufficient for the body’s needs or, the body’s cells are resistant to it.

    Blood Pressure

    Blood Pressure (BP)is the pressure of circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels. Blood pressure is usually expressed in terms of the systolic pressure over diastolic pressure and is measured in millimeters of mercury. Blood pressure that is low due to a disease state is called hypotension, and pressure that is consistently high is hypertension. Long-term hypertension is a risk factor for many diseases, including heart disease, stroke and kidney failure.
